Troublesome Tots

Troublesome Tots is a lighthearted one-shot game about a frazzled caretaker wrangling clumsy toddlers inspired by the Rugrats cartoon, being a parent, the game Everyone is John, and the resolution mechanics of the Ironsworn RPG. This game is designed to create the feeling of barely competent children and an overstressed caretaker all with incongruous goals and struggling to communicate. Remember to utilize safety tools like Open Table, Lines and Veils, and Script Change before, during, and after your game, because ultimately your goal is for everyone to have fun.

Most RPGs are asymmetric with some sort of game master or narrator. In Troublesome Tots the Caretaker is a character as well with their own secret goal and is only slightly more competent than the tots.

I suggest making your own character sheets on index cads, but I have provided both a cut out version on the one-page rpg, and an extra sheet of 8 that can be printed and cut.
